Dr. George G. Pappas is originally from Tinley Park, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Xavier University of Chicago, Illinois in 2002. Dr. Pappas proceeded to take a year off from his studies to visit family in Greece and help out at his family’s restaurant.
Dr. Pappas went on to attend the Illinois College of Optometry where he completed externships at Hines VA Hospital, Jessie Brown Hospital, Midwest Eye Professionals, and Illinois Eye Institute. Upon completion, he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry in 2007. Dr. Pappas is certified in both therapeutics and oral medications. He is fluent in Greek and has clinical experiences emphasizing in family optometry, ocular disease, and refractive surgery.
