SANJAY RAO, MD<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sanjay Rao, MD is a board certified, fellowship trained cornea, cataract and LASIK surgeon. He is a native of the Chicago suburbs and has been in practice in Chicagoland for 20 years.\u00a0 Dr. Rao attended Brown University Medical School and went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Doheny Eye Institute at the University of Southern California. He later completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.\u00a0 Dr. Rao was also the former Director of the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Service at the University of Chicago.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dr. Rao has clinical expertise in diseases of the cornea, LASIK surgery, cataracts and corneal transplants.\u00a0 He also specializes in Blade-Free laser cataract surgery using advanced technology lenses, and Blade-Free LASIK surgery. Dr. Rao also specializes in the management of complex ocular surface diseases, pterygium, dry eye conditions as well as corneal infections.\u00a0\u00a0Dr. Rao has published 24 articles on anterior segment disease and is a thought leader and speaker at domestic and international meetings on the subject of dry eye disease.\u00a0

Dr. Rao is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is an active member of multiple professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
