Dr. Azalea Garcia is a native Chicagoan and alumna of Loyola University of Chicago, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology.\u00a0She went on to receive her doctorate at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dr. Garcia completed clinical externships at Boston Medical Center, Codman Square Health Center, and at the Manchester Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she gained experience in diagnosing and managing patients\u00a0with various eye diseases.\u00a0 She also completed a clinical externship at the Global Vision Rehabilitation Center in Miami, Florida, where she received training in fitting specialty contact lenses and achieved clinical honors.\u00a0 Because of this mentoring, she enjoys fitting specialty lenses for a wide range of corneal diseases and dry eyes to improve patient\u2019s vision and quality of life.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Dr. Garcia is passionate about providing her patients with the highest quality vision and strives to provide the best\u00a0patient care.\u00a0 She is able to provide a full range of optometric care in both English and Spanish, and is also a member of the American Optometric Association.\u00a0 When she is not in an exam room, you can find Dr. Garcia working out, hiking on a steep trail, or traveling to a new city.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
