Nicholas Chan, MD is a Board Certified, fellowship trained cornea, cataract and LASIK\u00a0 surgeon.\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Dr. Chan specializes in full and partial-thickness corneal transplantation (PKP, DSEK,\u00a0 DMEK, DALK), refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, cross-linking), standard and complex\u00a0 cataract surgery (Blade-Free femtosecond laser cataract surgery, sutured IOLs for\u00a0 dislocated lenses), ocular surface procedures (pterygium excision, superficial keratectomy, EDTA\u00a0 chelation), and medical cornea. He has also had in depth training in medical retina including\u00a0 injections and laser procedures through his experience at the University of Washington.\u00a0 Dr. Chan\u2019s ultimate goal is to individualize care\u00a0 for each of his patients, treat each patient as he would a family member, and present complex clinical data in a clear manner.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dr. Chan is a graduate of Stanford University and earned his medical degree from Case\u00a0 Western School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of\u00a0 Washington Eye Institute in Seattle. He later completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease\u00a0 and refractive surgery at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Dr. Chan has published multiple articles and presented at the Association for Research in Vision\u00a0 and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery\u00a0 (ASCRS). Furthermore, he has advocated for the field of ophthalmology and its patients to\u00a0 Congress.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
